This lot from Sítio Esperança was selected as Best Sancup 2025, highlighting the exceptional work behind every stage of production—from cultivation to post-harvest processing.
Produced from the Red Catuaí variety, the cherries underwent a carefully controlled 48-hour fermentation, followed by a slow drying schedule designed to preserve sweetness, structure and aromatic clarity. After drying, the coffee rested in wooden bins for nineteen days, allowing the flavours to stabilise before export.
The result is a cup that is rich and elegant rather than aggressive.
Black tea introduces delicate tannic complexity.
Brown sugar provides a deep, lasting sweetness.
Roasted almonds and toasted nuts create warmth and balance, while the full body delivers a smooth, satisfying finish.
